Angel Martinez never wanted to go to the Dominican Republic. He went to the mission planning meeting only because of the food. When asked by his minister to pray about going to the Dominican Republic, he couldn't sleep for three days. He wasn't in the ministry and he'd never led a church. Nevertheless, ten days after being asked to go on staff with the church, he boarded a plane with 17 others to lead a planting in the Dominican Republic. 26 years later, he's still there and the church is still growing.
